The Bonnaroo 2010 Recap

So, like last year, I went to Bonnaroo again. And once again I would need a book (or a commemorative DVD) to go over everything I saw there. What was cool about this year is we had a huge group of (mostly) Sinfonians, a few of whom had been to every 'roo, so they knew what they were doing, and as a result we had a killer camp site. We got to camp in the tent-only area closest to the main arch, meaning minimal walking in the incredibly hot Tennessee sun.

I feel like highlighting a few bands that really stood out in my opinion. I just want to say I probably had the most fun on Thursday when I was listening to bands I mostly didn't know. And now I have at least three new artists I've added onto my iTunes playlist

Halfway Done with College

Soon, anyway. In a week or so I will complete my fourth semester at Lebanon Valley College, flinging me into the summer and ending my reign as a sophomore. It was a fun year, and it’s definitely going to be hard to see some people go, but I’m looking forward to moving forward. This summer

Thomas and the Skank Engines Tour: Day Six

Finally, the tour has kicked off (as our last show was on Saturday night)! Our second and third shows of our “More Waves Than You Know What To Do With” Tour were acoustic shows, meaning we had to switch our sound up a bit. I rocked out on some djembe with Brian on his strange

Thomas and the Skank Engines Tour: Day One

If you haven’t heard already through our many facebook events and status updates, my band Thomas and The Skank Engines are on tour! We are using our spring break this semester to play a lot of shows in Pennsylvania. Tonight was our first night out on the road. Our destination was a small venue in

New MiTiDo release: Alpha EP

Hello people. I’ve released more of my music onto the internet scene. So far I’ve put it out on Waffles, it will be up on this website soon, and I plan on using a few more torrent sites, as that’s my preferred release method (besides an actual physical CD). But I digress… It’s a MiTiDo

What happened to you, Radioshack?

I recall a time where I could walk into Radioshack and buy electronics components and other miscellaneous electronics things (sometimes audio gear, which I’m cool with). But now, it seems like all you have going for you are actual radios, remote-controlled cars and aircraft, and some bastardized attempt to get into the cell phone business.

Someone wrote an article about me

A quick thanks to the guys at Zero Paid for writing about my article on my music being on BitTorrent now. I’d like to add to any readers who may have come my way that soon I am putting my releases on public BitTorrent trackers as well. And a quick warning that my music is

Sharing my music on BitTorrent

So, I wanted to get some more exposure for some of my music. Sometimes it just feels good to get your name circulating around the internet and whatnot. So what did I choose to do? Put my music up for free download on BitTorrent. Waffles, to be exact. If you have an account, you can

My trip to Michigan

I went to Michigan last week, sort of. It definitely started out on the wrong foot – my brother and I were supposed to get on this one flight out of Philadelphia International Airport, but it got cancelled. That wasn’t before we were stuck on the plane on the runway for a good 4 hours,

Electronics, a new summer hobby

For the last week or so I’ve been looking up ways to build my own synthesizer. One thing led to another, and that led to me discovering and reading up on the Arduino. It’s a sweet micro processor which makes it easy to build circuits and program them on your computer. What really sold it
